Partha Chatterjee is currently associated with several start up companies in the hospitality, tourism, technology and investment space as a strategic and resources consultant.

Partha Chatterjee relocated to Kolkata from Mumbai in early 2019 and has continued his association with some of the companies like Maximojo Software, Developer Group, Speech and Software Technologies, Compel Consultancy and Gurkha Cigars across the country.

With the potential of the untapped markets in mind he partnered with two fresh start-ups, one in Kolkata looking at the North-east sector for tourism and nationwide for Bookbyslot.com exploring hotel inventories for shorter stays with the frequent traveller’s segment in mind.

Starting 2017 after retiring from Silverneedle hospitality, Partha is associated with Developer Group, a Japanese funded real estate development company, Litmus World, a CRM company, Legasis, an application centric global legal and compliances company, Alenka Media, a multinational media house, Speech and Software Technologies, a Tata Sons associated company in optical fibre solutions and Interactive televisions, 5F World, a Digital Transformation Journeys company and Maximojo Software, a premium online hotels revenue management company, in various roles as Director, Industry specialist and Consultant.

Partha Chatterjee joined SilverNeedle Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd., an Infosys Founder Nadathur Raghavan, incubated Hospitality Company to establish their brands in South Asia in December 2015. A 60 hotel company with hotels in ANZ and South East Asia, this was the company's foray into the Indian subcontinent.

Before this, Partha Chatterjee launched a new hospitality brand called The Pebble in August 2015. The first resort under The Pebble management started also in August 2015 at Ganpatiphule - Blue Ocean Resort and Spa. He handed over the management to Intellistay Hotels in December 2015 to join Silver Needle Hospitality on a full time basis for a year from December 2015 to December 2016.

Formerly, Partha Chatterjee has been involved with the startup of 7 Taj hotels, 17 Ginger hotels and 40 Keys hotels in a span of nearing 4 decades in the Indian Hospitality scenario.

He joined KEYS Hotels as a Founding Director on board & Chief Marketing Officer in September 2006. KEYS Hotels, a brand of Berggruen Hotels Pvt. Ltd. is a hospitality venture of Berggruen Holdings Inc., a New York based private equity fund and has 28 operational hotels and resorts and several more under various stages of development.

Partha has served the Keys company board as an Executive Director till January 1, 2013. He reduced his commitment in Keys Hotels to set up another company along with some renowned technology experts involved in software development/revenue management for the hospitality industry called Maximojo Software P. Ltd.

He comes with an experience of over three decades with the TATA group, primarily with Taj Hotels and Tata Tea Ltd.

Partha was associated with the launch of Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi in 1984, followed by Taj Bengal Hotel in 1989, Taj Lucknow in 2004 and rebranding of Taj Palace Hotel and Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai besides taking the Taj Mahal Hotel through its 100 year rebirth.

He has played a pivotal role in the re-branding exercise and launch of Ginger Hotels, the budget brand under the Taj Group.

He is also an active speaker at several industry events organized by The Confederation of Indian Industry, Hotels and Restaurants Associations of India, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and other professional organizations like Hotel Investment Conferences (HICSA), hotel development conferences and Hotel Build India where he speaks on development, branding, consumer behavior, consumer trends and service marketing.

Partha was awarded "Hall of Fame - Lifetime Achievement in Hospitality" at the PATWA seminar and Safari Awards at Ashok Hotel, New Delhi in August 2016.

Partha is listed in Hotelier India's "Top100 most influential persons in the Hospitality Industry in 2013" and has been awarded "Best Professional in Hospitality Industry" at Safari India National Awards in October 2013.

An alumnus of New Delhi's prestigious St Stephens College, Partha completed his postgraduate education in International Marketing from Berne, Lincolnshire and attended several executive development programs from Cornell, ASCI, TMTC, University of Michigan, etc.

He was also a national level sportsman and has a passion for acting and writing.

He is a member of most hospitality, travel agents and industry associations.
